Our Chief Culinary Consultant, Alex Darvishi is a veteran of leading culinary operations at several highly rated restaurants, hotels and private dining, city and country clubs around the nation. He has a great eye for details,efficient and modern kitchen designs and offers nis services such as menu design input, working with your chef in new concepts creations and implementation, managing costs, staff training, etc.
His experience in the culinary industry expands over 45 years. He is a certified executive chef by American Culinary Federation and a world certified master chef by Association of World Chef Societies.
He is the previous winner of prestigious national Chef Professionalism Award from American Culinary Federation, Academy of Chefs, Good Taste Award and National Pork board Superior Chef Award. In 2022, he was inducted into Academy of Chefs Hall of Fame.
Alex has also has a lng involvement in national and international culinary competition arena and has achieved numerous awards including winning 7 gold medals at the prestigious International Culinary Olympics in 2004, 2000, 1992 and 1988 (and a a perfect score in 1988 Culinary Olympics), World Cup Championship (as a member of 1990 National Culinary Team USA) and numerous gold medals in national culinary competitions.
Alex was the team manager for the gold medal winning ACF 2012 Culinary Youth Team USA at international culinary Olympics. He is also a certified national and international culinary competition judge and a past member of American Culinary Federation (ACF) Culinary Competition Committee and actively engaged.
In coaching several individuals and teams to championship status (including but not limited to coaching three junior culinary teams, from three different states, to the national championship titles at their first time appearances in the culinary competition arena. Alex is also a past culinary educator and has mentored many young culinarians in his professionally run kitchens in private social club industry. He is also very involved in judging local, national and international culinary competitions including most recently at 2022 Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg and 2020 IKA Culinary Olympics.
