Our Story
ARD Culinary is DBA for ARD Culinary Concepts, Inc, formed in September of 1993, a small mom and pop company and the result of a team effort between Patricia (an educator)and Alex Darvishi(a professional chef) working out of their home garage.
We are the creator, manufacturer and wholesale and retail distributor of innovative Knife Cuts 3D Visual Model Sets,Chef ‘s Rulers, unique culinary items and other training and teaching aids for secondary and post-secondary culinary schools, culinary and baking students, cooks, foodies, home cooks, culinary enthusiasts, culinary professionals and home and professional kitchens everywhere. Our 3 D Models production are hand-assembled and labor intensive while maintaining very high standards.
These products are also used by many amateur chefs, foodies, and cooking enthusiasts. They are also a handy teaching aid for your cooking classes and make a perfect gift and a special recognition award for your staff and honorees. We also offer Culinary Consulting services. ARD Culinary 3D knife cut Visual Model Sets were created as a result of Alex’s working with culinary teams, culinary students and hundreds of other culinarians fulfilling a huge need for visual standards in producing consistent and perfect knife cuts each and every time. In 2003, Alex converted the 2D measuring template ruler card (included in our 3D knife Cut Visual Models I,II and IV) Models along with multiple handy and quite useful kitchen and culinary reference material into ARD Culinary Chef’s Mini Ruler-stainless and ARD Culinary Chef’s Ruler,poly vinyl. Our products have been well received by culinary professionals, educators and culinary schools around the nation and globally and many schools have made our knife cut 3D visual kits and our Chef’s Ruler and Mini Chef Rulers part of their students knife kits for their basic skills classes.
